The Most Beautifully Designed Kitchen Sinks of 2017

Never overlook the value of a well designed kitchen sink. As the hub of any kitchen, your sink must be highly functional, hard wearing as well as beautifully made to withstand the daily grind of your busy life.

The big kitchen trends this year include functional sinks; scratch proof, heat resistant and acid resistant, in traditional and new shapes and in different colors and different materials. The choices are great; which one would suit your kitchen?

The sink in this Paris apartment from T Magazine is made from the same gorgeous marble as the countertops.

Here's another integral marble sink, but this one has a particularly unique shape — and an unusual placement of the faucet, too. I suppose the homeowner has very long arms. Spotted on Hello Lovely Studio.

This copper sink is a bit more subtle than the others, but no less beautiful. I love how it adds just a little bit of a luxe feel to this kitchen. From Balingslov.

The sink in this kitchen from Veranda is a little less under the radar — not that we're complaining.

An integral wooden drain board and lovely details grace the sink of a kitchen by architect Eric Bommel.

A double marble sink, spotted on My Paradissi.

The Sink LVQ048, from Officine Gullosa, is gorgeous and will set you back a mere $5,086.29.

Another marble sink, this one with a very interesting shape. (And those shelves are quite lovely too.) By Marina Sinibaldi Benatti.

A beautiful stainless steel sink with a linear drain, from Weiss.

An antique marble vessel repurposed as a sink in a kitchen spotted on My Paradissi.
